**Kitchen Assistant Role Overview**
We are seeking a reliable and efficient individual to join our kitchen crew as a kitchen assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain the proper functioning of dishwashing equipment and ensure safe storage and handling of chemicals.
* Receive and store food deliveries in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
* Support chefs with food preparation tasks.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of all food and serving areas.
* Clean and put away dishes after use.
* Ensure work areas are tidy at the end of each shift.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role or equivalent is preferred.
* Demonstrate a hardworking and reliable attitude towards work.
* Able to contribute positively to a safe, healthy, and productive work environment.
* Possession of a Food Safe Handlers certificate is highly regarded.
