Overview
Lead Acoustics Engineer — Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Full time.
What You'll Do
* Technical Leadership & Delivery: Lead acoustic assessments and modelling using tools such as SoundPLAN, CadnaA, EASE, INSUL, and internal KBR modelling platforms.
* Provide expert advice on building acoustics, room design, sound insulation, and noise control.
* Ensure environmental and project compliance with relevant acoustic standards and regulations.
* Project & Client Engagement: Present technical findings clearly to clients and stakeholders.
* Support tenders, proposals, and business development activities.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate acoustics into broader design solutions.
* Construction & Environmental Acoustics: Prepare noise impact assessments and environmental reporting.
* Develop construction noise / vibration management plans and advise on mitigation strategies.
* Team Development & Innovation: Mentor and develop junior engineers, building capability nationally; explore emerging acoustic technologies, modelling tools, and service offerings.

* Bachelor of Engineering degree
