Unlock New Horizons in Neurotechnology

Precision Neuroscience is pioneering a brain implant, known as a brain-computer interface (BCI), to restore communication and independence for people with neurological conditions.

Our cutting-edge technology empowers individuals with paralysis to control digital devices—such as computers and smartphones—with their thoughts alone, opening new possibilities for daily life.

We are committed to turning breakthrough scientific advancements into real-world solutions for people affected by conditions such as spinal cord injury, stroke, and ALS.

As a member of our team, you will join one of the fastest-moving and best-capitalized companies in the emerging field of BCI.

We are seeking motivated and technically rigorous Machine Learning Engineers and Scientists to work in our NYC or California offices with a deep passion for neurotechnology and human-centered AI.

Experienced in building real-time, robust ML systems that interpret high-dimensional neural data. In this role, you will bring cross-disciplinary expertise to the intersection of machine learning, signal processing, neuroscience, and biomedical engineering.

We are looking for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments, with a track record of translating research into working systems that impact lives.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex technical challenges at the intersection of neuroscience and computing, from real-time neural signal processing to intuitive user interfaces that help patients regain their independence.

About This Opportunity

* Develop novel algorithms evidenced by a strong publication record in major AI conferences and ideally granted patents.
* Leverage high volume data to develop real-time machine learning algorithms, especially image, video, and/or audio data in the context of embedded real-time systems.
* Design experimental protocols to gather training data.
* Collaborate with software engineers to implement these protocols.
* Collaborate closely with the clinical team to execute these protocols.
* Ship ML-powered products in production, especially in high-stakes or real-time environments.
* Built robust, testable, and maintainable ML pipelines that integrate with hardware, firmware, and front-end interfaces.
* Contributed to cross-functional product development, working closely with software, hardware, clinical, and UX teams.

Key Qualifications

* Familiar with FDA, HIPAA regulatory and performance constraints for deployable neurotech or medical devices.
* Diverse workforces create the best culture, company, and products.
