Regional Account Manager

A leading Australian FMCG food manufacturer is seeking a Regional Account Manager to join their team.

This role is focused on managing various channels, including HoReCa, Distributors, and broader Food Service across the South Australia and Northern Territory areas based in Adelaide. The ideal candidate would be an existing Key Account Manager or an ambitious Territory Manager keen to manage key accounts.


Key Responsibilities:

* Efficiently manage day-to-day requests and requirements of accounts within your area of responsibility.
* Oversee stock through various sales channels, ensuring quality control onsite/online.
* Build relationships with prospects at every level, engaging senior decision makers and influencers to discuss strategy and solutions.
* Own customer relationships by setting strategic and tactical plans for assigned customers, becoming a trusted advisor for better business outcomes.
* Provide excellent internal and external stakeholder service and communication.
* Develop a solid understanding of customers' businesses and operations, and current/future market strategies.
* Build and maintain strong business relationships at all user levels, as well as develop networks with internal stakeholders.
* Strategic Account actions (set joint business plans with customers for next 6-12 months).
* Generate and share data-driven insights.
* Develop category offers in line with market trends and profitability targets.
* Build pipeline and understand totality of sales process and sales velocity to hit sales goals.


Key Requirements:

* Ideal exposure to Food or Beverages categories or similar.
* Exposure to Food Service (HoReCa, Distributors, QSR etc).
* Ability to manage multiple customers across various channels.
* Comfortable working in cross-functional teams with various departments (Marketing, Category, Supply Chain, Finance).
* Analytical mindset with ability to utilise sales data.
* Track record of building profitable relationships.
* Full driver's license and ability to travel interstate when required.
