This full-time Parts Interpreter role at Nowra Motors Pty Ltd in South Nowra, NSW offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in the automotive industry. As a Parts Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise to support the sales and distribution of automotive parts and accessories.
What you'll be doing
* Actively engage with customers, both in-person and over the phone, to determine their specific needs and provide appropriate parts recommendations
* Accurately interpret technical manuals, schematics, and parts catalogues to identify the correct parts for each customer's vehicle
* Process orders, manage inventory, and ensure timely delivery of parts to customers
* Participate in regular training to stay up-to-date with new products, technologies, and industry developments
* Collaborate with the sales and service teams to provide seamless support and enhance customer satisfaction
* Maintain detailed records and documentation related to all parts transactions
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter or in a similar automotive parts role, preferably within a dealership or automotive retail environment
* Strong technical knowledge and the ability to interpret parts manuals, schematics, and catalogues
* Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical customers
* Proficiency in using computer systems and databases to manage inventory and process orders
* A proactive and problem‑solving mindset, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* A passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to providing exceptional service
