About the position
Reporting to the Manager for Admissions, the Senior Officer, Admissions is responsible for delivering domestic and international applicant selection and admission activity. This role will work closely with peers and across teams to ensure a consistent approach to customer service delivery and consistent application of transactional activities and associated procedures. This includes responsibility for large volume and high-pressure admission activities, reporting, quality assurance, continuous development and collaborative knowledge sharing practices.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have;
o Completion of a degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
o Demonstrated ability to set priorities and monitor workflows within own area of responsibility.
o Demonstrated ability to work independently, follow established procedures with limited supervision and contribute positively to an effective team.
o High level proficiency in computer software packages including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, electronic mail, and the use of the internet as a research tool.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated customer service focus and solution orientated approach.
