Your duties and responsibilities as a Industrial Engineer
· Design, evaluate, and optimize operational workflows for land development and subdivision projects to enhance efficiency and resource utilization.
· Plan, schedule, and allocate manpower, equipment, and materials to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
· Analyze workforce utilization, project processes, and construction schedules to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
· Coordinate with contractors, surveyors, civil engineers, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with Australian standards, council regulations, and environmental guidelines.
· Conduct inspections, audits, and site visits to verify technical quality, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications.
· Develop engineering solutions to operational and logistical challenges, ensuring optimal project outcomes and minimizing delays.
· Prepare technical documentation, process manuals, and reports for internal tracking and regulatory submissions.
· Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential hazards, project disruptions, or resource bottlenecks.
· Standardize procedures, workflows, and best practices across multiple projects to maintain consistency in quality and delivery.
· Review and optimize construction sequencing, site layouts, and logistics to maximize efficiency of labor and equipment.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues, integrate feedback, and ensure client satisfaction with project delivery.
Skills and Required Experience
You must have:
· At least Bachelor of Engineering or a higher qualification in related field
· Minimum 2 years' experience in the field of engineering
· Solid knowledge
· Excellent communication skills to work with clients and team
