What does the job look like?
Our Intermodal business is looking for an experienced HR driver to join the team based in Mackay, Queensland. In this role, you will be responsible for general freight container deliveries to local customers. We currently have a permanent full-time position available, working Monday to Friday on day shift commencing from 5:00am to 1:00pm and rotating Saturday's every three weeks.Key areas:
* Driving the commitment to Linfox Safety Standards at all times, and ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus
* Completing correct load restraints and manual handling techniques
* Conduct pre-trip vehicle checks, report issues, and maintain compliance with road safety and transport regulations.
* Adhere to Linfox coupling and uncoupling procedures, ensuring safe handling of equipment.
* Provide excellent customer service, representing Linfox professionally
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation
Are you the one?
* Current and valid HR license
* History of safe work practices & responsible manual handling experience
* Prior experience working across container, tautliner and/or refrigerated freight
* Familiarity with Mackay, QLD metropolitan areas
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Proactive approach and positive attitud e
