Job Title: Food Collection Driver
We are seeking a reliable and efficient individual to join our team as a Food Collection Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting donated food, unloading it at the designated storage facility, and stocking shelves and freezers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Driving: Bringing a high level of driving capability, friendly professionalism, and reliability to collecting donated food.
* Vehicle care: Drivers are key in ensuring the vehicle is safe and fully operational by regularly checking tyres, fuel levels, and monitoring oil and water levels.
* Administration: Limited to filling in the vehicle log book and ensuring an identification badge is worn at all times, as well communications with Corps Officer regarding any concerns that may arise.
* Stock handling: Unload donated food, unpack, and stock shelves and fridge/freezer. Assemble food packs as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* This role requires volunteers to have a current C Class drivers license.
* Experience driving a small van is preferable.
* Customer service experience highly regarded.
