We are looking for a skilled communications and engagement professional who enjoys working with others, has experience coordinating engagement and communication activities, and is confident engaging with stakeholders and the community. Our ANZ Stakeholder Engagement & Communications Section partners with clients and the broader Jacobs business to design, deliver, and evaluate engagement and communications programs for major planning and infrastructure projects across the energy, water, defence, transport, and health sectors.
We're particularly interested in candidates who have experience working for Defence or another Federal Government organisation.
An AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance or willingness to be vetted and apply for this at no expense to you is required.
You will:
* Draft communications for a range of channels, including ministerial updates, briefing presentations, engagement event information panels, webpage copy, and media releases.
* Coordinate stakeholder and community engagement activities, in-person and online, such as meetings, workshops, information sessions, webinars, and online forums.
* Manage engagement databases and file saving and sharing sites.
* Draft engagement action plans and outcome reports, including stakeholder analysis, risk analysis, and data analysis.
* Collaborate with technical specialists within multi-disciplinary teams.
* Contribute to a positive team culture and participate in continual improvement.
* Develop consultancy and project management skills in line with the Jacobs Global Career Framework.
Here's what you'll need:
* A tertiary qualification in Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, Social Science, Arts, or a related field.
* 2+ years of relevant experience in communications and/or engagement.
* Some experience working in Government.
* Active AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance (desirable).
* Understanding of International Association of Public Participation (IAP2) best practice as defined by the Engagement Institute.
* Strong organisational, problem‐solving, and communication skills.
* Can‐do attitude with an interest in continuous learning and improvement.
* Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment and juggle multiple priorities.
* Full driver licence and confidence driving for work purposes.
