Our Guest Services team are our frontline Daymakers and the first point of contact for our guests, providing support across the resort through helpful information, product assistance and exceptional customer service. They enhance the guest journey both in the village and on the mountain, offering guidance at lifts, creating memorable on-snow experiences and delivering expert adventures for those wanting to explore beyond the resort into Kosciuszko National Park.
Within all roles it is a requirement to provide excellent communication skills as well as a positive attitude. Whilst tourism-based customer service experience is a bonus it is not essential.
Outdoor Hosts
Experts in guest engagement, Outdoor Hosts provide clear information, answer questions and deliver exceptional customer service. They support guests across the mountain, from offering assistance in the village to helping with lift access at chairlifts.
Skills & Experience
* Acting confident and conscientious when interacting with guests and other team members.
* Being co-operative, positive and professional.
* Ability to problem solve with the guest's best interest in mind.
Sales Support
Working across both customer-facing and office environments, the Sales Support team delivers high-quality service with a strong focus on efficiency and guest satisfaction. They assist guests with enquiries and the purchase of lift passes, rentals, lessons, programs and general resort information through in-person service, phone, email and online chat.
Skills & Experience
* Skills in the RTP operation system & in the standard suite of Office software systems.
* Experience in retail cash handling.
* Data entry and typing proficiency essential.
Mountain Host
Comprehensive knowledge of Thredbo's resort and terrain is a must, providing guests with accurate resort and local information delivered with genuine enthusiasm. This role focuses on creating memorable, high-quality on-snow experiences for guests of all skiing and snowboarding abilities.
Skills & Experience
* Attention to detail in a multitask environment.
* Ability to ride all snow conditions and terrain in a strong, effective, and confident manner.
* Valid NSW WWCC.
Backcountry Guides
Our team of snowshoe, ski tour, and split board guides, lead guests beyond Thredbo into the stunning wilderness of Kosciuszko National Park. Delivering safe, expertly guided adventures across hidden trails, pristine powder, and breathtaking alpine vistas.
Skills & Experience
* First Aid Certification – Provide First Aid HLTAID003 (Required).
* Provide First Aid in Remote Situations HLTAID005 or Provide First Aid in a Remote Location SISOOPS305A (Preferred).
* Avalanche Safety Certification – AST 1 (Required), AST 2 above or equivalent (Preferred).
* Ability to ride all snow conditions and terrain in a strong, effective and confident manner whilst carrying a pack up to 20kg.
* Valid NSW WWCC.
