We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Business Improvement Manager to join our team in Walla Walla (30 minute drive from Albury).
About the role
As a Business Improvement Manager at Kotzur, you will lead initiatives that enhance operational performance, quality standards, and technological integration. Your role will be pivotal in driving a culture of continuous improvement, implementing Lean practices, and ensuring our Quality Management System (QMS) meets international standards.
This position is ideal for someone with strong leadership experience in manufacturing and a passion for process optimisation and innovation.
What you'll be doing
* Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 standards
* Plan and conduct internal and external quality audits, ensuring corrective actions are completed
* Establish and monitor key quality metrics and performance indicators, providing actionable insights to leadership
* Champion Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping) across the organisation
* Drive continuous improvement projects, tracking ROI and fostering a culture of innovation
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and eliminate bottlenecks
* Support automation and technology integration to improve efficiency and reduce costs
What you'll bring
* Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
* Expertise in Quality Management Systems and Lean Manufacturing methodologies
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
* Exposure to automation, robotics, and operational technology is highly desirable
