The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will ensure the absolute reliability, uptime, and performance of complex electronic and electrical security machinery across Sydney and regional New South Wales.
Your days are highly predictable; monthly and weekly preventative schedules are planned well in advance so you can structure your life accordingly.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct planned preventative maintenance, diagnostic fault-finding, and emergency breakdown repairs.
* Execute technical equipment upgrades and new system installations.
* Work standard day hours, with flexibility required for occasional longer days depending on the project and location.
* Participate in a predictable 1-in-4 week on-call rotation for emergency service requests.
* Cover the Sydney metropolitan area with occasional regional travel required within NSW.

Candidate Requirements
We are looking for hands-on, technically curious engineers who take pride in maintaining complex, mission-critical systems.
Technical Skills & Experience
* Background: 2–3 years of proven experience as an Electrical or Electronic Field Service Engineer working on complex machinery.
* Industry Cross-over: Prior experience with X-ray, imaging, or radiation equipment is an advantage but not mandatory. Highly regarded backgrounds include medical, hospital, dental, ATMs or other high-tech machinery.
* Qualifications & Licensing: A strong foundational background in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. A valid Australian Driver's License is mandatory. An existing Radiation License is beneficial.
* Work Rights: Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (PR).

* Physicality: Must be physically fit and comfortable operating in tight, confined spaces.
