Key Responsibilities:
* Attend site at designated times to participate in daily operations.

Working Environment:
Groundworkers play a pivotal role in the initial stages of construction and civil engineering projects. They work closely with supervisors and engineers to interpret design specifications, preparing the site for structural building works to commence. Groundworkers continue their work throughout the construction phase, collaborating with various on-site trades, including bricklayers and plant operatives, up to and including final completion activities.
Training and Development:
The learner will be studying the Groundworker Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard qualification. Functional skills will also be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held. Regular attendance at college is expected, with one day per week allocated for academic studies.
