This role plays a crucial part in reducing reoffending by delivering criminogenic programs designed to support positive change in inmates' lives.About Clarence Correctional Centre Opened in mid-2020, this 1,700-bed state-of-the-art facility is the largest correctional Centre in Australia.

6 hours' drive from Sydney and 3.5 hours from Brisbane our region offers rainforests, epic headlands, sand dunes and some of the best Australian beaches with a variety of multi-cultural cafes, restaurants, and friendly community towns.
As a Program Delivery Officer, you will:Deliver therapeutic and criminogenic programs to inmates based on Offense-Related Program (ORP) objectivesAssess inmate suitability and maintain accurate documentation of progressEvaluate and recommend strategies to improve participant attendance whilst considering the needs of individualsLiaise with multidisciplinary teams and participate in ongoing training and developmentPromote rehabilitation initiatives and contribute to reducing reoffendingSerco is a place for you To be successful in this role, you'll have:Qualification in Psychology, Criminology, Social Work, Social Sciences, Community Services or other related discipline or relevant industry experienceCertificate IV in Correctional Practice (Case Management) or completed within the first 24 months of employmentAbility to prepare and submit accurate reports within required timeframesExperience in group facilitation, ideally dealing with complex mental health or behavioural issues (desired) As a fast-growing and successful global company, Serco's services span Justice, Defence, and Health.
