About the role
AHA-1 Join our friendly pharmacy team and play a valued part in delivering safe, timely care to our inpatients and outpatients. You'll support dispensing and medication distribution, assist at reception and cashier points, and help ensure a smooth, welcoming pharmacy service. This entry-level Allied Health Assistant Level 1 role offers hands‐on training, close support from experienced pharmacy staff, and exposure to a broad healthcare environment. With commitment and successful completion of Certificate III or six months' service, you'll have a clear pathway to progress to AHA Level 2.
AHA-2 Be part of a collaborative pharmacy team where your skills directly support safe, efficient patient care. In this role, you'll contribute to a comprehensive pharmacy service through medication dispensing and distribution, pharmaceutical packaging, inventory management and daily workflow coordination. You'll assist with ordering and preparation of pharmaceuticals, share your knowledge through on‐the‐job training, and work closely with pharmacists, allied health professionals and the wider healthcare team to deliver a responsive, high‐quality service for patients and the community.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements include completion of Certificate III or a minimum of six months' service in a relevant setting.
