Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

This role offers a career opportunity to join a global leader in technology and business solutions, where you will play a key part in shaping the future of our organization.


Key Responsibilities

* Design, deploy and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using Azure services, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
* Provide comprehensive support for desktop, infrastructure and services across multiple technology streams, including hardware, operating systems, software, networks, servers and peripherals.
* Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), following established breach reporting processes.
* Maintain and perform housekeeping of customers' physical infrastructure, including desktop equipment, peripherals, telephony, print devices and audio-visual conferencing equipment.
* Manage customer expectations by providing timely updates on case progress and notifying of any delays or changes.
* Log all customer interactions and activities in the appropriate IT Service Management (ITSM) tool and escalate operational issues promptly.
* Record and submit accurate timesheets and project efforts in a timely manner, complete required training on schedule.
* Adhere to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) practices and policies as set out by the organization and its clients.
* Perform additional work as assigned by the Team Lead or management.


Requirements and Qualifications

* Security Clearance is essential.
* Minimum experience supporting End User Devices at Level 1+, preferably with remote support experience.
* Strong technical knowledge of hardware and peripherals, including laptops, notebooks, workstations, printers and audio-visual equipment, as well as BYOD and mobility solutions.
* Proficient in Level 1 and Level 2 technical knowledge of desktop and software applications, including Windows, Office and antivirus software.
* Basic understanding of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, SCCM and End-Point Imaging.
* Familiarity with IT infrastructure and network equipment, such as routers, switches, servers, virtualization platforms and VPNs.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with professional customer service skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong partnerships.
