About the role
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for an energetic Service Sales Representative to join our Newcastle team
Based in Cardiff, Newcastle you will report to the Branch Manager and demonstrate your outstanding sales and customer service skills daily.
The role will suit someone who is happy to travel, meet existing clients, and establish new customers.
Throughout your travels you will handle and deliver all types of batteries and 12 volt associated products, providing reliable and effective customer service.
You will enjoy the freedom of building lasting relationships with customers and looking after your own territory's sales and growth.
Key responsibilities
Directly sell and deliver company products to customers, as well as identify new business opportunities and customers
Manage an existing set of clients and national customers
Process paperwork with an eye for detail
Use our Phone App to process invoices and orders
Actively participate in the promotion of new products to the trade
Maintain a scheduled plan of service intervals for existing and new regional customers
Be willing to learn all aspects of our battery business
Work a Saturday morning on a rotational basis (one Saturday a month)
About you
Service driven and capable of working unsupervised
Ability to build strong relationships with customers
Previous sales and customer service experience, though not essential
Attention to detail with paperwork and inventory control
Ability to lift heavy automotive batteries regularly
Active member in the improvement of business processes across the sales and distribution network
Consistent and reliable
