The Opportunity:
As a casual Youth Worker Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and supporting Youth Workers to deliver safe, engaging, and inclusive programs for young people attending the Palmerston Youth Centre. The role ensures staff are effectively supervised, tasks are appropriately delegated, and that all operational, WHS and Safeguarding requirements are completed.
You will Youth Worker Supervisor plays a key role in leading the delivery of a safe environment for young people while ensuring compliance with organizational policies, safeguarding requirements, and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership, staff supervision and guidance.
-Youth Engagement and program support.
- Maintaining clear and professional communications with Youth workers, Team Leader and Manager.
-Management of daily operations and task delegation.
- Ensure daily reporting requirements are complete.
- Provide guidance to youth workers to complete internal and external child safety and WHS reports.
- Maintain strong working relationships with youth workers, team leader and manager
- uphold compliance with WHS legislation and organizational safety polices at all times.
