About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis, reporting, and strategic advice to senior executives and business leaders across NSW. You will be a trusted advisor, driving business growth and making informed decisions through data‑driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide financial analysis, reporting, and advisory services to senior executives and business leaders
* Manage and resolve finance‑related queries and issues from local offices
* Collaborate with local Managing Directors to gather revenue forecasts and track actuals
* Assist in the month‑end review process and reporting
* Work with the Finance Director to drive business improvements and system enhancements and provide training on finance systems to local teams
* Possible advancement to manage and motivate a team of high‑performing state controllers/business partners
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics
* Several years of demonstrated related experience and/or training
* CA or CPA qualification with 3-5 years of post‑qualified experience
* Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills with a strong work ethic and adaptability
* Strong financial knowledge and accounting principles
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with financial systems (RECD, PeopleSoft, Business Intelligence, TM1 Cognos)
