We are currently seeking applications for an AI Applications Developer, to join the Information and Technology branch within The Department of Treasury & Finance for an initial period of 12 months with a possibility of extension.
Remuneration: ASO6 – Salary Range (ASO6 $98,478 - $104,165 p.a)
About the opportunity:
As an AI Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet business needs. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, ensure application quality, and address technical issues. Staying current with emerging technologies and working effectively within a team will be key to your success in delivering high-quality software solutions.
About you
This role is suited to someone who can think laterally, work as part of a high performing team, demonstrates a "can-do" attitude and showcases excellent communication skills.
As an AI Applications Developer, you are a strategic and collaborative professional with a strong background in project coordination, AI development, and stakeholder engagement. You bring:

Special Conditions:
* Some out of hours work may be Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
* The incumbent will be required to participate in the Departmental Performance Management Program.
* The incumbent may be required to be assigned to other positions at the same remuneration level across the department.
* Engagement in this role is subject to a satisfactory Department Human Services General Probity Check. A renewal will be required every three years.
