The Publicity Assistant role is a key position within our team, requiring an individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
We are seeking a highly motivated and efficient assistant to provide administrative support to our Director of Communications & Public Relations and assist with the day-to-day running of the publicity department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for executing daily tasks including answering phones, sending media releases and ratings reports, updating databases, managing our media site and coordinating travel arrangements.
Additionally, they will assist the publicity team with event planning and coordinate artist schedules for shoots.
This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Ensure all daily tasks are completed
* Assist department members with projects as required
* Update and maintain media lists
* Manage our media access site
Key Activities
* Answering and monitoring phones
* Management and maintenance of our media access site
* Distribution of media releases and daily ratings reports
* General administrative and executive assistant duties
* Coordination and assistance with events
Requirements
* Experience in television or a related field (not essential)
* Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure
* Excellent communication skills
