This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 2, 2026

Note: This position is being advertised as part of a recruitment pilot designed to simplify the application process for teachers. A mandatory CV template is provided for use. The Role

We are ideally seeking a passionate and innovative educator to join our team as an Advisory teacher within theBigPictureprogram, supporting students from Years 7 to 12.

The successful applicant should place students at the centre of decisions about what, how, and when they learn, fostering independence, engagement, and a lifelong love of learning. You will ideally create an environment built on trust, respect, and care, working closely with families, industry mentors, and the school community to ensure varied, personalised, and differentiated approaches to learning.

A commitment to high expectations, reflective practice, and innovation is important, as well asinspiring students to progress confidently into further education, training, and purposeful futures. You should use a range of pedagogies, establish and maintain a positive classroom environment, and incorporate current and emerging technologies based on research-informed practice. An excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and the ability to engage students of varying abilities would be highly regarded.
