What You Will Do
As policy officer, you will support legal assistance reforms and policy work across the justice system. You will contribute to projects that improve outcomes and access to justice for Victorians.
You Will
* contribute to policy proposals, programs and initiatives that support government priorities
* provide clear advice on performance, funding and reform issues
* prepare high-quality briefings, correspondence, reports and presentations
* research and analyse policy issues to develop practical solutions
* support projects and work flexibly across changing priorities
About You
A relevant tertiary qualification is highly desirable. Qualifications in law, public policy or a related field will be well regarded.
You Should Also Have
* sound knowledge of policy development and Victorian Government processes
* strong skills in data analysis, including advanced Excel functions and pivot tables
* the ability to apply critical thinking to solve complex problems
* clear communication skills and a commitment to inclusive working practices
