The Opportunity
Join UniSC's Academic Support Unit and play a key role in delivering high-quality Work Integrated Learning (WIL) experiences for students. The ASU provides expert academic support across all UniSC locations, contributing to innovative teaching, research excellence, and strong governance and compliance outcomes.
In this role, you'll support the administration and delivery of WIL placements, working closely with students, academic staff, and external host organisations. You'll help ensure placements run smoothly, systems are reliable, and students are well‐prepared for real‐world learning experiences.
Responsibilities
* Provide system support and administration for the WIL placement management system, including troubleshooting and maintaining data integrity;
* Support students and coordinate pre‐placement requirements, resources, and WIL activities;
* Liaise with academic staff and host organisations to support placements and contribute to continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* A degree or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training;
* Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment;
* Experience providing client‐focused system or administrative support, including incident resolution;
* High attention to detail with strong data entry, reporting and record‐keeping skills;
* Well‐developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders;
* The ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and escalates issues appropriately.
