About the Role
As a Support Worker with WEmpower, you will:
• Provide person-centred support in the home and community, including daily living assistance, personal care, social participation, transport, and meal preparation.
• Support participants to build skills, independence, and confidence aligned to their NDIS goals.
• Work across a range of settings, including community access and Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with participants, families, and team members.
What We're Looking For
• Genuine passion for supporting people to live with dignity, choice, and independence.
• Strong communication, reliability, and a proactive, team-focused approach.
• Current Driver's Licence and reliable, insured vehicle.
• Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and NSW Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain both).
• Experience in disability, aged care, community services, mental health, or similar roles is welcomed.
• Cert III/IV in Individual Support, Disability, or similar is an advantage but not essential.
• Availability across a mix of shifts- day, afternoon, weekends, and potential sleepovers.
