Australian Tyre Traders (ATT) is a leader in designing and manufacturing tyres and wheels for mining, agricultural, truck, industrial and off the road applications. Operating Australia wide, our four premium brands are Harvest Tyres, Ascenso Tyres, Haulmax Tyres and Halitrax Tyres.
Based in the Tasmanian warehouse facility in Invermay and working Monday to Friday, this full time, permanent position offers a great opportunity for a motivated Warehouse Manager to join our team. Reporting to the National Warehouse Manager, the key focus of this position is to ensure complete oversight of the facility. Responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
* Dispatch - Ensure processing of all sales orders meet deadlines and expectations of sales support teams.
* Loading, transporting, and delivering items inline with company OHS requirements and meeting customer timelines.
* Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete and any changes are actioned in line with customer requirements.
* Communicate with all transport companies about dispatch requirements for the day.
* Understand the local delivery requirements for each day, ensure both original equipment and local delivery requirements are met.
* Facilitate fitting schedule roster based on summary provided by key original equipment personnel.
* Receipt - Oversee unloading of 40 foot containers and the orderly storage of tyres.
* Ensure all associated documentation is completed and reported as required.
* Confirm all packing is correct and forwarded to the shipping manager efficiently allowing stock to be entered.
* Ensure weekly transfers for each warehouse are picked, packed and loaded as per the schedule.
* Ensure GRDs are scanned and completed for all local deliveries.
* Process all customer returns on the same day, scanning all paperwork to the central admin system.
* Storage and packing - Oversee safe and strategic placement of stock in the warehouse.
* Manage stock flow making sure space and accessibility is considered.
* Inventory Control - Action cycle counts as per the tasks provided by the management.
* Investigate and report any stock discrepancies at the time of picking to ensure customers are not impacted.
To be successful in this position you will have
* Inventory control knowledge and experience with inventory and freight software packages.
* High attention to detail and the ability to recall tasks from the previous day.
* The mental capacity to work autonomously, hold interest in repetitive tasks and work under pressure at times.
* The ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
* Physical fitness to perform the required manual tasks.
* A current Drivers licence.
* Experience with tyre sales or distribution is favourable.
* Minimum 2 years experience in warehousing and logistics management.
* Certificate 3 or 4 in warehousing and operations and understanding of basic chain of responsibility (COR) is favourable.
* Forklift license is favourable.
