Position located at Novar Gardens
Key responsibilities:
* Operational Leadership – Manage transport operations, safety risk management, and fleet maintenance.
* Team & Resource Management – Lead and develop staff, ensuring efficient use of key reporting systems and KPIs.
* Customer & Business Development – Strengthen relationships with key clients, ensuring high service levels and profitability.
* Compliance & Safety - Ensure adherence to NHVR policies, fatigue management, and chain of responsibility legislation.
* Continuous Improvement – Contribute to business growth and process improvements.
About you:
* At least five years' experience leading a transport operations team.
* Experience in transport/logistics management, ideally with an outsourced logistics provider or a large manufacturing environment.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Knowledge of industrial relations, compliance regulations, and safety management.
* Ability to analyse reports, manage profitability, and drive operational improvements.
* Excellent communication and problem‐solving skills.
* Intermediate IT proficiency and familiarity with logistics platforms.
