The team provide specialist services for young people, children and families, adults, and older people. Community mental health services include a specialist Aboriginal Mental Health Team, bilingual mental health workers and Peer Support Workers. Our main sites are at Canterbury, Croydon, Camperdown, Marrickville, and Redfern Community Health Services. The role will be based at Croydon Health Centre.This Senior Community Mental Health Professional is located within the Croydon Assertive Outreach team. It is responsible for providing advanced evidence-based, strengths focused, recovery orientated assessment and treatment within a multi-disciplinary team and coordinating consumers’ recovery plans where there has often been poor treatment outcomes in the past. The senior role is also responsible for complex clinical decision making, supervision and consultancy to colleagues, Community Managed Organisations, GPs and our community.
