Job Opportunities for Apprentice Pump Technicians
About the Role:
We are seeking an Apprentice Pump Technician to join our team in Australia.
This role will involve working alongside experienced service technicians and requiring regular travel to customers to support flow service requirements.
* Assisting with the maintenance, repair, installation, and inspection of pumps, mixers, and other associated equipment for all customers within Australia and New Zealand.
* Carrying out routine maintenance and inspections at waste water pump stations, treatment works, clean water distribution networks, and desalination plants.
* Collecting and delivering repaired pumps and pumping equipment to and from customers' sites to local Service Centres.
* Collaborating with sales teams to maximize pump sales.
* Completing theory sections of the apprenticeship and undertaking E-Profiling.
* Performing general housekeeping duties.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in mechanical rotating equipment, particularly pumps, and possess a valid driver's license. They will also have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and good time management abilities.
A completion of secondary school – Year 10/11/12 is essential.
