HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) – SEN Experience Required | Northampton | Immediate Start
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and experienced HLTA with SEN experience to join a supportive and inclusive school in Northampton, with an immediate start available.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a confident HLTA who is passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs and helping them achieve their full potential in a nurturing environment.
Role
* Support teaching and learning across the classroom, including leading lessons when required.
* Work closely with students with SEN, including those with ASD, ADHD, and other additional needs.
* Deliver targeted interventions on a 1:1 and small group basis.
* Assist in planning and adapting learning activities to meet individual needs.
* Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and support staff.
Requirements
* HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience working with students with SEN.
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
* A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
