Endeavour Group is on a journey to scale its online retail channels for DanMurphy’s, BWS, ALH, Jimmy Brings and other brands. To support the massive growth, business can foresee AEM practice working on some key initiatives including content upliftment projects. As part of this project the team will be focussing on backend technologies using AEM for our critical applications. The person will be supported by a group of like minded experienced professionals in the practice.
A day in the life of an AEM Engineer..
1. Ability to communicate with stakeholders
2. Understand Business requirement and convert them in application features and capabilities
3. Keen to learn and adapt to frontend practices and technologies and follow them
4. Importance of backend practices and Software development concepts and different types of coding standard and patterns
5. Work with the Practice Lead to define the required capability across the delivery squads
6. Identifies technical improvement areas and offers solutions
7. Raises awareness of technical debt.
What you need to succeed..
8. 5+ years of experience with Adobe Experience Manager
9. Experience in Solution Design / Solution Architecture using Cloud Manager
10. Experience with Adobe and headless approach
11. Strong experience building author interfaces for complex cases
12. Strong knowledge of SEO principles and best practices
13. CI/CD development/deployment practices
14. Expert demonstrated experience building and maintaining style guides
15. Expert experience writing cross-browser compatible code
16. Expert knowledge of responsive and adaptive design
17. Expert knowledge and understanding of RESTful web services
18. Expert knowledge of integrating user interfaces with backend systems
19. In-depth experience optimising sites for maximum performance and scalability
20. Modern software design practices
21. Secure coding best practices
22. Experience working closely with design teams
23. Experience ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
24. Expert development testing knowledge - Unit testing, test automation
25. Understanding of other front end frameworks
26. Experience working in Agile Development teams
27. Jira & Confluence experience
28. Good understanding software architecture and how different layers communicate to each other UI, API DB etc.
29. Good troubleshooting skills
30. You should possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
31. Good analytical skills and reasoning skills.
