Cunnamulla State School P-12 has three Deputy Principal temporary vacancies. We are seeking candidates that are committed and passionate about delivering differentiated learning outcomes to students through a genuine willingness to take on new and unique experiences. About The School Cunnamulla P-12 State School is a rural and remote Prep to Year 12 campus located on the land of the Kunja people in the Darling Downs South West region. The school's First Nations population is 82% with various Aboriginal language groups including Kunja, Badjari, Budjiti, Kullilli, Kooma, Mardigan and Murrawarri represented. For this reason, we refer to our students as "gundoos" which is a local Indigenous word that means child. Under the direction of the school's leadership and at the request of our gundoos, CP12SS is continually striving to improve its cultural capabilities and build into the learning environment connections to the land, its people and its history. At the end of the day, our aim is to convince each gundoo that school is fun and a place where they want to be, and to teach them to love and value learning in order for them to be successful. About The Positions Deputy Principal Flexi-Space P-12: We are seeking an innovative and committed Deputy Principal to lead, implement our FlexiSpace program with a full teaching component. Additionally, in this key role, you will shape strategy and drive improvement. FlexiSpaces are an in-school tool to provide short-term support for students who are showing early signs of disengaging from learning. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students and to embed inclusive teaching practices. A FlexiSpace is a purpose-built learning environment with flexible furniture and learning zones, where teachers tailor their teaching and curriculum to reconnect students who would benefit from additional support to learning. Deputy Principal - Prep through to Year 6: In this key role, you will shape strategy, drive improvement, teach a component of P-12 classes, and lead key areas including P-6 curriculum and assessment, HR, timetabling, and daily operations. Deputy Principal - Year 7 through to Year 12: In this key role, you will shape strategy, drive improvement, teach a component of P-12 classes, and lead key areas including HR, timetabling, daily operations, senior school curriculum and assessment, and future pathways.
