The Role
We are currently seeking a Restaurant Manager to join the senior team at Centennial Homestead. Reporting to the Senior Venue Manager, you will have the capability to manage and lead the team, ensure the smooth operational workflow of the front of house, back of house and most importantly be “the face” of the business and ensure our customers and clients have a rewarding and memorable dining experience.
Ideally you will have come from a similar venue within a background in a multi-disciplined, innovative hospitality company and thrive on taking the lead to get things done. You excel at dealing with operational challenges in a tightly resourced environment and the people issues that come with this business.
To ensure your success in this role, you will have:
* A minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a managerial role
* Passion for providing quality cuisine and exceptional customer service
* Strong budget management and staff recruitment skills
* Strong leadership capabilities, true motivator and a dedicated mentor
* Excellent knowledge of produce and wine and running of a venue
* High level of cleanliness and hygiene, immaculate grooming and presentation
* Ability to work 5 days within a 7 day roster with 2 days off in a row (occasional night shifts)
* Clear communication skills, flexible, resilient and passionate
