**Manitou Australia** provides Service & Solutions to the Agriculture & Construction Industries in the Sydney, Wollongong, Newcastle and ACT regions.
**About the Role**:
**Manitou Australia** has an opportunity for an experienced results driven individual with well developed technical sales and negotiating skills to work alongside our fast paced energetic team in Lidcombe.
You will be responsible for generating new sales within your territory with the opportunity to showcase your people skills and build relationships with our customers by displaying excellent time management and impeccable customer service.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Contact and maintain contact in person and electronically with prospective and existing customers to build a business relationship that generates sales in line with KPI's set by the Center Manager.
- Preparing all quotes, agreeing upon prices and preparing contracts
- Maintain accurate customer and prospect records of all visits after completion and recording in the CRM system.
- Outbound prospect new customers within your designated sales territory or where instructed using a range of sales techniques including cold calling, referral, networking to obtain sales opportunities.
- Actively promote the full services and products offered by **Manitou Australia**.
- Demonstrate New and Used equipment to prospects effectively to maximise the potential of concluding a sale.
- Arranging delivery of machines.
- Contact clients after delivery to ensure that they are satisfied with the equipment.
**The Person**:
- Has equivalent bachelor's degree or at least 5 years full-time relevant work experience in lieu of a formal qualification
- A strong understanding of equipment, heavy machinery or related industries is preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen
- An outgoing attitude with the ability to work well within a team environment.
- To be results oriented and a highly motivated self starter.
- The ability to build & maintain customer relationships
- Excellent communication and time management skills

**Salary**: Up to $85,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Lidcombe, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 1 year (preferred)
- Sales: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driver Licence (preferred)
