Job Description:
As a key player in the procurement function, you will be responsible for identifying and securing high-quality goods and services that align with the organization's goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop procurement strategies and plans that drive social impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and review procurement plans and strategies aligned with organizational objectives
* Source and manage services, materials and goods tailored to each entity's needs
* Lead transition activities for procured services ensuring seamless execution
* Drive cost savings through innovation and process improvements
* Maintain detailed procurement records and pipelines
* Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Engage and manage contractors ensuring performance and compliance
* Promote diversity and inclusion in supplier engagement
* Ensure sustainable and responsible procurement practices
Requirements:
* Minimum 35 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
* Proven track record of contractor management and performance monitoring skills
* Strong financial acumen and cost reduction achievements
* Experience promoting supplier diversity and social enterprise engagement
* Proficiency in eTendering platforms, MS Office and reporting tools like PowerBI
* Familiarity with Rapid Global, JDE or Converga is a plus
