We're partnering with a highly regarded women's health organisation committed to delivering holistic, trauma-informed care to those impacted by domestic, family, and sexual violence (DFSV). They're currently seeking an experienced and passionate counsellor to join their therapeutic team
The Opportunity In this vital role, you'll provide person-centred, trauma-informed counselling to women affected by DFSV, working within a multidisciplinary team that values compassion, equity, and cultural safety.
Key Responsibilities Deliver client-focused counselling grounded in strength-based, trauma-informed principles Provide culturally responsive support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients, with deep understanding of intergenerational trauma and the impact of the Stolen Generations Develop and review tailored care plans alongside clients Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance support pathways Participate in regular supervision, training, and reflective practice Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives About You You are a skilled and empathetic professional who:
