A little about the role
Our Support Worker Co‐ordinator is seeking expressions of interest to join a casual support worker pool. Ashley would love to hear from experienced Support Workers to primarily work after school hours (3-6pm) and weekends.
* Transporting children and young people to appointments, providing therapeutic supports and implementing therapy goals.
* Ideally you will be available to work primarily after school hours (3-6pm).
Excellent rates SCHADS Level 3 and allowances. These positions are casual.
About you
You will bring demonstrated experience with dealing with vulnerable children and young people of various ages from 0‐18 years.
* You will have a concise understanding of trauma‐informed therapeutic care to assist in de‐escalating and responding to critical incidents with the young person.
* You will have experience in dealing with children and young people with complex needs and behaviours and the ability to therapeutically manage these behaviours.
* You will be required to be available after school hours and weekends.
