About headspace
headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds, along with assistance in promoting young peoples’ wellbeing.
This covers core areas including mental health, physical health, work and study support and alcohol and other drug services.
Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) is the lead agency for headspace Sale, which is governed by a consortium of local community organisations who provide expertise, support and advice to RAV.
About the role
Reporting to the Centre Manager, your responsibilities include providing day-to-day operational coordination and clinical oversight across the Sale site.
You will ensure high-quality, client-centred service delivery while supporting staff through supervision, debriefing and guidance.
In this role, you will be engaging with stakeholders, monitoring service outcomes and contributing to service innovation and improvement.
Additionally, you will provide direct counselling services to young people, including screening, assessing needs and completing complex risk assessments, taking steps to mitigate any identified risks.
This role is located at Sale and is permanent part-time (0.8 EFT), working Monday to Thursday and includes an evening shift on Tuesday from 12pm to 8pm.
The base salary range is $120k - $124k (pro-rata) per annum.
About you
- Degree qualified and eligible for Clinical membership in, social work, psychology, mental health nursing or occupational therapy.
- Experience in providing ‘day to day’ operational support to clinical and non-clinical staff to guide and optimise their work and productivity levels.
- Highly developed and demonstrated communication skills, with a particular emphasis on providing constructive and proactive feedback in relation to contemporary practice and improvement.
