About the Role
Mackay Hospital and Health Service is seeking a Senior Pharmacist to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical pharmacy and workflow issues, as well as expertise in electronic health solutions.
The successful applicant will provide high-level consultancy on clinical pharmacy and workflow issues, effectively leading change across multiple areas acute and community. They will also deliver training to staff on the effective use of digital solutions within the Health Service, as determined through the Health Service Plan and priorities.
About the Team
The Digital Hospital Solutions team supports the state-wide Integrated Electronic Medical Record (ieMR) solution. This includes Medication Management, Anaesthetics, SurgiNet, FirstNet, Care Delivery, Renal and Powerchart Maternity solutions, as well as device integration for ECG and CTG.

Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in various locations.
