Work Type: Fixed Term - Part Time, Permanent - Part Time

FTE: 0.38-0.75

We are seeking to establish a pool of Cleaners in Charge for permanent and fixed term part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Warnbro Primary School is an outer suburban school situated near the white sands and calm blue waters of Warnbro Beach. We are an Independent Public School catering for children from Kindergarten to Year 6. Established in 1973, we have a rich history, and traditions that span nearly 50 years. Our community serves approximately 290 students.

The Role

The Cleaner in Charge is responsible for inducting, training, leading, and managing cleaning staff including relief staff; monitoring and ordering stock supplies within your budget; maintenance and stocktake of cleaning equipment; undertaking cleaning of allocated internal and external areas; opening and locking the school, including setting the security alarm system and conducting twice daily hand over with the Manager Corporate Services.

Suitable applicants will ideally have good attention to detail and will be able to work well with others to ensure a clean and safe school environment. You will ideally be organised, reliable and punctual. Suitable applicants should work well both individually and as part of a team and have excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods and practices.

Eligibility

* obtain a valid Working With Children Check.
* consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
* be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
