About the Role
We’re seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our supportive team in Wyong, working a minimum of 27 hours per fortnight. In this role, you’ll assist a group of clients with intellectual disabilities who live together in a shared home.
They enjoy engaging in creative and sensory activities, cooking, spending time with loved ones and getting out into the community. You’ll be a key part of helping them achieve greater independence and joy in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver active support aligned with each client’s goals and support plan(s).
- Assist with daily personal care tasks (e.g., toileting, showering, dressing).
- Use safe manual handling techniques in accordance with individual plans.
- Facilitate community access and transport using Unisson vehicles or public transport.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, families and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports and records.
- Work collaboratively within a close-knit team.
- Respond appropriately to incidents in line with Unisson and NDIS guidelines.

- Saturday: No shift
- Sunday: No shift

- Monday: 7.00AM – 10.00AM – Wyong (SIL204)
- Tuesday: 6.00AM – 9.00AM – Wyong (SIL204)
- Wednesday: No shift
- Thursday: No shift
- Friday: 6.00AM – 9.00AM – Wyong (SIL204)
- Saturday: 2.30PM – 6.30PM – Wyong (SIL204)
- Sunday: 2.30PM – 6.30PM – Wyong (SIL204)
Who We’re Looking For
- Willing to work sleepover, active night, weekend, and public holiday shifts.
- Hold a valid NSW Driver’s Licence (P2/full) and are confident driving Unisson vehicles.
- Energetic, compassionate, and emotionally resilient.
- Experienced in disability support (preferred).
- Qualified with Cert III/IV in Disability (desirable).
