Quest Personnel is seeking an experienced and reliable MR Driver to join our client's company in Pakenham on a casual basis with a view to permanency for the right candidate. As an MR Driver, you will play a vital role in our road transport operations, delivering goods safely and efficiently to our clients. This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration and excellent benefits.
You will be delivering air-conditioning parts and equipment to builders, construction companies, and private individuals in Melbourne Metro.
What you'll be doing
* Safely operating medium rigid vehicles to transport goods to various locations
* Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness
* Adhering to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies
* Providing excellent customer service by delivering goods on time and in good condition
* Maintaining accurate records of delivery and reporting any issues or delays
* Assisting with loading and unloading of vehicles as required
What we're looking for
* A current Medium Rigid (MR) driver's licence
* At least 2 years of experience as an MR Driver in the road transport industry
* A strong understanding of road safety and traffic regulations
* Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently
* Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy objects
* A reliable and punctual approach to work
