Civil Engineer Required – Shape the Future of Infrastructure
We are looking for a proactive and skilled Civil Engineer with minimum 3 years of professional experience in the roads sector to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and execution of Civil Engineering projects, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with Australian industry standards.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the construction of road projects including drainage systems, bulk earthworks, foundations, and utilities.
* Liaise with site Foreman and Engineers to ensure maximum outputs are achieved.
* Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including designers, subcontractors, and clients.
* Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
* Ensure projects comply with relevant regulations, codes, and environmental standards.
* Support Senior Engineer and Project Manager in scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
* Preferred experience with a Tier 2 contractor in Australia, on transport projects in New South Wales.
* Pavement and utilities experience desirable but not essential.
* 3+ years of experience in civil engineering design.
* Solid understanding of Australian Road Standards & Specifications.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Understanding of daily, weekly, and monthly cost tracking.
Salary & Benefits
* Base salary: $120,000 – $150,000 per year depending on experience.
* Vehicle allowance: $15,000.
