Our Clerkship Program
For a head start in your career, apply for a clerkship in our Perth office. You will work alongside experienced lawyers and gain firsthand experience of the type of work you could do as a lawyer at Allens. You’ll be part of a team, assisting with real matters, with support from a performance coach and a buddy to help you thrive.
Our high-quality technical training and supportive learning environment set us apart. We will help you develop your understanding of commercial law and build essential skills, preparing you for a successful legal career. During your clerkship, you will be involved in some of the market's most complex domestic and global transactions.
We offer clerkship programs during summer and winter, aligned with university holidays. Each program lasts three weeks in one practice group, providing a consistent and insightful experience into our work and clients.
Most clerks progress to become graduates with us. Here’s what you can expect:
