Based in Newcastle at McDonald Jones Stadium, we are seeking a passionate and energeticCasual Staffing Co-ordinatorto help us execute major events, non-event day activities and engage our very large casual team.
Your Recipe
As a Casual Staffing Co-ordinator, you will be part of the team responsible for managing event rosters, team availability and event day arrival and departure of our 400 strong casual team. Your natural helpful manner will help deliver the genuine care and engagement we provide for our team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver support with the creation of event rosters in our specialised rostering software utilising strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
· Maintain accurate records, files, and databases relevant to team activities.
· Assist the team to keep their details and availability up to date.
· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
· Liaise with operational departments to ensure the right team members for the right roles.
· Accurately manage changes to the roster in the lead up to and during event day as required.
· Act as a vital link to help co-ordinate the team hub to present a genuine welcome and great ease of use during the event.
· Be a friendly face, upholding GEMA values in welcoming our team to events.
· Contribute your experience and ideas to help us make the game day experience even better for our team.
· Display essential leadership skills to assist with the execution of rosters and support event day setup.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Proficient at MS Office – particularly Excel.
· Prior experience with a speciality rostering system.
· Customer service experience and/or team support experience.
· Ability to multitask and problem solve in a busy environment.
· Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event days as required.
