The Team:
* Facilities Management and engineering services are a small team located at the Royal Hobart Hospital, servicing the southern region of Tasmania.
* The Facilities team consists of both Trades and administration staff providing Maintenance services to the Southern region of Tasmania.
The Role:
* Be an effective member of the Facilities and Engineering Team responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of all mechanical trade-related plant, equipment, services, and facilities within the Department’s area of responsibility.
* Maintenance of specialised equipment to ensure reliability of all mechanical equipment and services including air-conditioning and sanitizers in accordance with statutory requirements.
* Support a preventative maintenance schedule for equipment for health care facilities in accordance with statutory requirements.
Details of Appointment:
Permanent full-time day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. *Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $73,811 to $79,779 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
