About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Maintenance Coordinator to join Andrews Meat Industries to support our maintenance team.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating maintenance requests, maintaining records, assisting with compliance documentation and ensuring smooth communication between departments, contractors and suppliers.

Work hours

Start at 7.00am on days where you'll be meeting contractors onsite, otherwise on days where there is no early coordination required, the start time will be flexible.

Key Responsibilities

* Schedule and assign maintenance tasks to technicians/vendors or contractors
* Meet & greet contractors and escort to relevant area of work within the facility
* Log and track incoming maintenance requests and provide progress updates
* Manage preventative maintenance schedules for all machinery equipment and facility infrastructure
* Liaise with suppliers and service providers to obtain quotes, schedule services and follow up on orders
* Support inventory, track maintenance suppliers and re-order stock as needed
* Monitor progress of ongoing repairs and ensure completion
* Help ensure compliance with health and safety policies and maintenance procedures
* Provide general administration ad hoc support to the maintenance team
* Respond to internal and external enquires regarding maintenance requests and schedules
* Participate in audits as requested

About You

* Strong Administrative skills with high attention to detail
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the business
* Excellent organisation and planning skills
* At least 2 years' experience in administration role or similar
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team and respond to time-sensitive issues
* Proficient in MS office, particularly Excel & Word
* Ability to multi -task and prioritise work
