JOB DESCRIPTION 
We\'re excited to welcome a Clinical Midwife to join the First 1000 Days team in Child, Youth & Family Health services. 
The First 1000 Days program is an integrated midwifery and child health nurse model, which aims to provide an holistic, flexible, needs-driven, and responsive health service to families with vulnerabilities that otherwise may not engage in health services. Through a multi-disciplinary approach, families receive coordinated, responsive clinical care starting in pregnancy and continue through the early years. The program focuses on connecting and supporting women and families with complex vulnerability factors who find engaging with health services challenging due to a past experience, stigma or system barriers. Clients supported by this program are pregnant women, postnatal women and their children up to the age of two years. 
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities 
- Knowledge and experience with socially complex women and families 
- Experience working autonomously, have advanced communication and complex problem-solving skills. 
- Knowledge/Experience working with CPLU/Child Safety. 
- Awareness of legislation for release of information, section 159(N/M) of the Child Protection Act, 1999 
Remuneration 
Remuneration value up to $131 900 p.a., comprising salary between $107 960 - $115 604 p.a. (f/t), or salary rates: $54.44 - $58.30 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (NGR6 (1) (Full-Time and/or Part time positions available). Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
