About The Role
We are looking for Occupational Therapists to provide life‑changing occupational therapy to NDIS participants, supporting adolescents and young adults aged 10‑24 as they navigate life with a disability through to early adulthood. This position is ideal if you are seeking a full‑time position, however part‑time would also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Work in diverse settings, from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres.
- Utilise evidence‑based measurement tools and assessment skills to create therapy plans and provide life‑changing occupational therapy to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing NDIS funding.
- Work within an interdisciplinary team of passionate and dedicated allied health professionals.
- Build meaningful relationships with participants and their supports (family, carers, friends).
- Attend weekly team meetings in the Hub, sharing stories of impact.
- Tap into the knowledge and support of your Team Leader and dedicated Therapy Mentor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy.
- General AHPRA Registration.
- A positive and flexible approach to work.
- Strong communication skills and a team player.
- Commitment to personal and professional development.
- Valid driver's licence.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check.
- Working with Children Check.
- Experience working in NDIS/disability is preferred, however not essential.
